Lakers Win Again This Time Against Bobcats
The Lakers squared up against the Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday in another Preseason battle. The Lakers held on to a big lead the whole game while the Bobcats narrowed the lead towards the end of the game, still the Lakers pulled out the 91-87 win. Kobe Bryant got into the game for 26 minutes and provided with 13 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. The main attribute Kobe gave in the game was getting the other players involved as he fed Andrew Bynum the ball numerous times in scoring position. Andrew Bynum provided the scoring boost scoring a team high 15 points in 25 minutes of play and grabbing 5 boards. Josh Powell also provided a spark tying Bynum’s 15 points and grabbing 8 boards this is a good sign for Powell and the Lakers bench with the season only a meer 9 days away. There were questions coming into the game for Lakers starts Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol. Pau sat out against the Kings on Thursday due to a sore hamstring while Odom went out in the 3rd quarter of the Sacramento game with a bruised right shin. Both were inactive against the Bobcats and both are day-to-day. Both injurys seem to be very minor, Questions will be in the air as the Lakers face the Clippers on Sunday at 10:30 Eastern. |
